Introduction
- WCUMSAA is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious international organization regis-tered in the State of Washington in the United States, organized under the laws of the State of Washington. WCUMSAA is a recognized 501 (C)(3) charitable organization by IRS.
- WCUMSAA is to follow the “Benevolence & Wisdom; Loyalty & Courage; Honesty & Prudence; Diligence & Harmony” of school motto of the West China Union University， to help patients with difficulties when and where they needed; to carry out medical and health-related charitable activities in China, especially in the southwestern region.
- WCUMSSAA is to protect and promote the interests of alumni; to support West China Union University, West China University, Sichuan Medical College, West China University of Medical Sciences, or West China Medical Center and its related medical educational programs
- WCUMSAA is to serve as a platform of information exchange, mutual understanding and collaboration, to promote global health science and technology in the United States, China and other countries.

《Notice of collect membership fee 》
At a time when the outbreak of covid19 in China is on the rise, the WCUMSAA set up a fund-raising on 1/23/2020 to help China through the shortage of PPEs. The fund-raising was stopped on 3/5/2020. Started in the first week of March, the global outbreak of covid-19 has changed rapidly: China's outbreak has eased, while the covid-19 in the United States has rapidly worsened and become increasingly severe. The WCUMSAA immediately decided to adjust its donation of PPEs that were originally destined for China to the worst-hit areas of the U.S. to help front-line medical personnel in non-profit medical institutions fight the epidemic. In view of the recent inability to purchase qualified personal protective materials, the WCUMSAA will no longer restart the fund-raising activity.
The WCUMSAA thanks everyone for their support and contribution, to all the people and donors who have fought against COVID-19! Not only are the medical personnel fighting on the front line, but also your contribution to the fight against the pandemic!
